Adobe Bridge

My new found love on my Mac. This was a hidden treasure that I didn't even realize I had. On my computer is Creative Suite 4 which Bridge comes with CS2, CS3, and CS4 so I had it this entire time without realizing it and was thrilled to learn about the program. I am taking a Digital Imaging class now and we jumped right into this program to help manage and organize our photos. This is great for photographers, and designers who may have a ton of photos that need organized, watermarked, copyrighted and more.

With Adobe Bridge you can view large amounts of images, rate the images from 1 to 5, view EXIP metadata, apply ITPC metadata, filter images, batch rename the entire set of images with a click of a mouse, and open files in Adobe Camera Raw or Photoshop, create galleries or slideshows in Flash or HTML. This software is such a time saver! I look forward to working more in Bridge.

Website Mockup & Floor Plans for Coffee Shop

For part of the Coffee & Cookies Branding, I was to design a mockup website for the company. This took elements that I previously had designed and put them together. The colors, my picture of the coffee, beans & cookies, and the logo design. I really like how all this came together. I didn't post my layout plans that I sketched out for the coffee shop, but the sign and menu inside the restaraunt is also on the wall with a chain so I copied that into the layout of the design for this webpage.

I had a project to design a 10-15 second web commercial that would be scattered across the web for Coffee and Cookies. This is the one that I drew up for the slogan... Coffee and Cookies.. Just Heavenly.

This was a lot of fun. I've never done storyboarding before and found it really interesting! I love the artsy, sketch part of the project. Simple, but attention getting thumbnails.

Promotional Advertising

For one of my recent lab projects in my classes, I was to design two versions of a promotional ad for the same fictional company.. Coffee & Cookies. Unity, Balance, Perspective, Typography, Composition, and anything else that would make the ad "pop" These are the two that I decided on. The first ad, Coffee & Cookies, is actually a darker brown. The picture that downloaded to my blog is a little off on colors. I need to figure out what causes this.. it happens a lot!

Action Words

Here are more of my action words. These are a lot of fun to play with. There are soo many action words out there with some great creative possibilities. These are good to play with for any layouts, designs, logos, headings and more.

Action Word

Right now I am playing around with action words in typography. With action words you are trying to express what the word is trying to communicate to you. I have been having alot of fun with these! In one of my art classes I was to do one for an assignment of mine and here is the one I worked on. I love how it turned out! I will be doing more and posting those too....

New Logo Design

Here is the most recent logo design that I created. The photographer loves these two colors and I think they really compliment each other in this logo. There will be a web design to follow....

UFC Flag

The Ultimate Fighting Championship flag arrived from the printers today. I'm very happy with how the flag turned out. The printing company that I found was great in everyway possible - great service, wonderful printing, fast printing, excellent prices & amazing 2 day shipping. The company has 4 locations... 1 in the US and the other 3 elsewhere. Thinking that my design went to California I was a little shocked when the FedEx package arrived from China! Also, the client really liked the flag too, which is the important part! You can click on the picture to enlarge it....

Luau Invitations

Invitations designed for a luau. I took off the personal information, but this is the template to the invitation that I designed.
